Broadcasting - Radio - Journalism
You can hear me on air every morning from 5:30 am to 10:00 am mountain time on 660 City News Calgary. With a team of fantastic individuals, I work to produce, write, and anchor the morning news on weekdays.

Our goal is to help Calgarians in the daily struggle to be human and share what you need to know to start your day informed. (Traffic and Weather together on the ones!)

Other Career Highlights:
2015-2019
Talk Show Content Producer
Talk Show Host
I was primarily a talk show chase content producer at AM 770. In my tenure there I had the opportunity to work with many storied and prolific personalities. I learned first hand what makes great conversation.
Those personalities include: Bruce Kenyon, Angela Kokott, Rob Breakenridge, Roger Kingkade, Charles Adler, Danielle Smith, Dave Taylor, Sue Deyell, Gord Gillies, and more!

I also had the opportunity to step behind the mic and play host periodically when the aforementioned personalities were away.
As a side project I also produced a small pretaped weekend show called You Missed This!

Great energy and attitude.
Those are the top two of many good qualities when it comes to describing Andrea.
We worked together at QR 770 in Calgary where she produced the Morning News.
Despite the pressure of filling a daily Talk show and working those ungodly early hours, Andrea was a breath of fresh air.
Her sharp sense of humour led to her becoming a big part of our show ‘on air’ as well as behind the scenes.
Fun, quirky, a rare talent.

Helicopter Traffic Reporter
2013-2015
The highlight of my time with Golden West Radio was being on the ground during the historic flood of 2013. I was working from the Okotoks radio station location when the High River station filled with water. Some of my colleagues literally floated their vehicles out of town and showed up in Okotoks soaking wet and covered in mud.
Being there to witness, report on, and experience the amount of community it took to pull through that event will forever be a bookmark moment in my life.

Our coverage received the Western Association of Broadcasters Gold Medal Award.

Months after the rivers rose I edited together this video of our experience:
